The Precinct is a large venue in Cremorne/Richmond. It is one of the closest venues to the MCG and Rod Laver Arena on the Eastern Side, which means the Precinct draws a crowd pre and post sporting events and matches all year round. ‍ The Precinct offers large TV screens in the beer garden and is the centrepiece of it's sporting culture. It's not uncommon to see AFL scarfs and Cricket broadbrims scattered across the dance floor. This beer garden area has a great atmosphere even outside of sporting related events, with an acoustic guitar player and a singer often providing entertainment. ‍ The other key area of the Precinct Hotel is the stage and dance floor. The Precinct has a mix of cover bands and DJs. They both play throwback, retro songs as well as modern pop/commercial music. ‍ The crowd is different depending on the area. The beer garden is 24-30 odd, whereas, the Dance Floor is 18-26 years old but also a bit of mixing between the two areas.
